It’s Mobile World Congress time again

From Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th of February Barcelona hosts again the GSMA Mobile World Congress. The event brings together annually the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry and a conference featuring prominent executives representing mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers and content owners across the world. Barcelona has been hosting the Mobile World Congress since 2006, which has turned the city into one of the main hot spots for tourists interested in technology and innovation. If you are interested in the latest technological advancements or you want to show off with your friends about your knowledge of technological gadgets, then you should definitely consider to rent an apartment in Barcelona around these dates and pay a visit to the Mobile World Congress.

This year, the main technological highlights will come from Samsung and LG. Both Korean companies will launch their latest models already on Sunday 21st of February ahead of the start of the Congress, Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5 respectively. Particularly, the media has been especially loud about Samsung Galaxy S7, which the Korean company has labelled as the new ‘anti iPhone’.

In spite of the great relevance of Samsung and LG, Chinese companies such as Huawei, Meizu, Xiaomi and Lenovo are also expected to launch innovative technological products during the Mobile World Congress.

Some keynote speakers for this edition of the Mobile World Congress are Mark Zuckerberg, CEO and founder of Facebook, Dan Schulman, CEO and founder of Paypal and César Alierta, Executive Chairman and CEO of the Spanish Telefónica.
